And this morning I heard a cardinal up on top of the tree, right outside my neighbor's house. And I often hear chickadees. And because we live near Saint Luke's, we hear sirens almost everyday, several times a day.


Honk! Cling-cling! Ding-dong! Stomp-Clomp! Zing! The local basement band followed by snowy silence.


Right now my neighborhood is quiet. But When the school across street reopens, all hell will probably break loose.
