Ernest responded to many Questions of the Day and we asked him if he would like an “Artistic Housecall.” He said yes. The perfect Sojourn artist for Ernest was James Hart - one challenge - James lives in Colorado. So James and Ernest met by phone for several months. On the first day of performances in September 2014, we arranged a ride for Ernest to City Hall and Ernest and James met face to face for the first time. And Ernest had the chance to listen to Kevin O’Donnell’s soundscape featuring Ernest’s stories.
